A Brief Overview Assumes responsibility for directing hospital-wide patient care activities and oversees hospital operations on an assigned shift. What You Will Do Ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Care and Practice, Patient Bill of Rights and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
