Must satisfactorily complete the first available rhythm recognition course NIHSS Certification; if not current, must be obtained within twelve months of hire/transfer Must satisfactorily complete ACLS course within one (1) year of hire/transfer Must complete TNCC (Trauma Nurse Certification) within 18 months of hire/transfer Preferred: Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent Stroke certified registered nurse (SCRN) specialty certification.
