About the Role: The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Licensed Nurses- To supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit That will be responsible for total care of all residents on his/her unit and supervision of direct care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met. To review daily assignments of nursing staff on the unit to assure that assigned duties are consistent with ability and training. That can initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit. About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing. Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field. Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting. Ability to maintain professional attitude, including such areas as confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperativeness and conscientious use of time. What you need to know about this position: Recognized as one of the top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals by IBM Watson Health , our Cardiac Stepdown Unit (SDU) is a 17-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. A new Registered Nurse in this unit will have an hourly base rate starting at $33.34. An experienced Registered Nurse can expect an hourly base rate in the top 25% of nurses in the region. RN positions are eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums. In this position you would be scheduled to work 2 -12-hour night shifts (24 hours/week, considered part-time) with start/end times of 7:00PM-7:30AM, with a holiday and weekend requirement. With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible. What is required for this position: Upon hire, you must have: Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
