What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, you'll provide rapid, compassionate, and expert care to patients experiencing a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Your ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment will be essential to delivering safe, high-quality care when patients need it most. The Emergency Department cares for a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, including medical emergencies, cardiac and respiratory conditions, stroke, trauma, orthopedic injuries, abdominal complaints, infections, and other acute illnesses and injuries. As an ED nurse, you'll perform rapid assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patients for changes in condition, assist with procedures, and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. What We're Looking For Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
