Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Nurse NurseCore is currently hiring Registered Nurses (RN) with Infusion experience for our Specialty Staffing division . NurseCore has a national footprint in Home Health, with branches hiring for Specialty Staffing in the area of Manchester, New Hampshire and the surrounding area. Proficient in accessing and maintaining SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVAD (PICC/Implanted Ports), SCIG, phlebotomy, and lab processing. Follows proper infection control measures. Coordinates the planning for delivery of nursing care with the Director of Nursing and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care. Proactively updates client/patients’ POC, health changes, and other related incidents. Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific differences in the patient population, including physiological and developmental differences unique to each group. Ensures safe care to patients; adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic region. Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice and can be on call for field visits as determined by business needs. Administers CPR and other emergency procedures, as necessary. Qualifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing is required. Home health experience preferred – Can perform assessments, wound care, medication management, and infusions. Minimum of two years medical, surgical, or critical care/ER experience preferred. Minimum of one year of recent infusion experience preferred. Through utilization review determines if patient is meeting criteria of evidence-based clinical guidelines for appropriate level of care. Identifies the need to execute the appropriate letter when medical necessity is not met and issue letters of patient liability regarding the hospital admission. Bases care management and utilization review actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make sound clinical judgment/decisions. Documents measurement and evaluation of financial, clinical, functional and satisfaction outcomes as patient progresses towards desired goals. Evaluates and responds to the learning needs of clients, clinicians and community regarding discharge planning and utilization review. Manages the care and utilization review of simple to complex multi-system patients by using time and resources efficiently. Come work at the best place to give and receive care! ​Job Description: Who We Are: Elliot Health System's 42-bed, full-service, Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department provides the best care for patients and their families, treating nearly 58,000 patients annually. Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Trauma & Critical Care Surgeons provide exceptional coverage in our department. Our trauma team of board-certified or board-eligible trauma and critical care surgeons treats community children and adults 24/7. A Pediatric Emergency Department with board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians, an Acute Psychiatric Unit with dedicated psychiatric nurses, and an Intermediate Care Area for less urgent patients to reduce length of stay. Our providers collaborate with in-house radiologists, hospitalists, critical care physicians, and a multidisciplinary team of medical and surgical specialists to provide the best care and adapt to emergency medicine innovations. About the Job: As an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of care to patients in need of immediate medical assistance. You must possess excellent communication and multitasking skills to effectively treat individuals with potentially life-threatening injuries or illnesses. What You’ll Do: Assessing patient needs and providing critical care Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies Working as part of a team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals Creating patient care plans and maintaining accurate medical records Who You Are: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience preferred. Registered Nurse or Compact State License in New Hampshire. BLS certification during orientation and employment. ACLS needed within six months of hire. PALS required within one year of hire. Crisis management certification. CPI advanced necessary within six months of hire. ENPC encouraged, TNCC required within one year of hire. Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
