Promote effective working relationships and work cooperatively as part of the department team to facilitate the department's ability to meet its goal and objectives. Contributes to Quality Improvement activities and participates in the departmental Quality Improvement Program. Responsible for own professional development to insure appropriate knowledge of advances in practice to provide state of the art treatment for patient population serviced. Perform other related duties as required. Requirements Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Operating Room Nurse Manager

Scope Of Position The Manager of Clinical Operations is responsible for the coordination and deployment of nursing care resources for the Operating Room. Direct reports include: RNs, CSTs, and Surgical Assistants. Provides support and directs the Operating Room staff in the clinical area to optimize the care delivery process and patient flow. Works collaboratively with the staff to ensure delivery of quality patient care. Acts as a clinical expert.
