Position Overview: Majestic Care RNs render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit. Key Responsibilities: Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans. Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs. Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel. Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act. Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents. Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments. Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing. Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required. Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Op

Part time/40 hours per pay period 6:00AM-4:00PM Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call. The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards. Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. ** RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.
