Attends monthly staff meetings. BASIC COMPETENCIES Education Graduation from accredited school of Nursing with a BSN degree. Current NJ license as RN or temporary permit to practice in New Jersey required. If practicing under temporary permit, must obtain license within 12 months. Experience At least one year of experience. Skills BLS, ACLS, IV and PALS certification. Demonstrates competence in the following: Cardiac knowledge IV insertion 12 leads EKG reading/Cardiac arrhythmias Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position. Second language a plus. JOB SETTING/PHYSICAL DEMANDS All patient care areas. Frequently prolonged standing/walking. Protective clothing worn: face shield, gloves, impermeable gown, particulate respirator Salary commensurate with experience within posted range. $46.94-$66.43/ Hour DIFFERENTIALS: WEEKEND $2.25 PER HR EVE DIFF- 10% NIGHT 12% /CHARGE PAY $2.25 PER HR $4.00 Critical Care Differential for first 365 days. If employee gets certification it will go up to 8.00 after 1yr.
