Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the facility adheres to all state, federal, and local regulations, including the guidelines set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes. Resource Management: Manage nursing department budgets, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies. Ensure the efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of care. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including administration, therapy, and dietary services, to coordinate comprehensive care for residents. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
