The Critical Response Team (CRT) RN role utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to coordinate, delegate, and deliver safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients throughout the hospital. As an emergency responder, this nurse responds alongside the appropriate teams to Rapid Response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code Sepsis, Code STEMI, and CRT RN consults, with a primary focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
