As a RN on our unit, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of our patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. 5D is a 20-bed orthopedics and GI post-surgical unit, dedicated to the care of postoperative gastrointestinal surgeries. This inpatient unit specializes in the care of GI patients including pre and post-op surgical care for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders as well as general medical/surgical overflow.
