Every other weekend and 2 major, 2 minor holiday’s a year required Emergency Department Highlights 52 beds and more than 41,000 patient-visits a year Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Level II Trauma Comprehensive Stroke Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Texas Health Plano 30-Minute Promise alleviates the worry that comes from long waits in the emergency department Here’s What You Will Need Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred. Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year of Emergency experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire. RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support -Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required TNCC-Trauma Nursing Core Course –within 12 months required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 Days Required Here’s What You Will Do The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs.
