Job Description RN WEEKEND WARRIORS Registered Nurse Working Supervisor Rate: $60/ hour includes shift differentials Available Shifts: 7am-7pm Every Saturday only! = 12 hr/ weekly The RN Nurse Supervisor plans, controls and executes the nursing services required by the residents. Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements, to ensure that the residents receive the highest quality of care at all times. Together with the Nursing Director, the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor plans the operation of nursing services and the provision of emergency support requirements for tour of duty. Plans the coordination of nursing activities in line with medical needs, physician instructions and the general nursing care plan. Coordinates the activities of charge nurses to ensure proper care of residents. In conjunction with medical staff, adjusts the care plan to meet emergency medical needs. In the absence of superiors, the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor assumes total responsibility for operating decisions required by the circumstances of the moment. Takes responsibility for management of emergency situations as the need develops. Ensures presence of appropriate relief staff to assume responsibility prior to leaving the facility. Ensures notification of resident’s personal physician if there is a significant change in the condition of the resident or if the resident requires immediate medical care. Qualifications: The RN Registered Nurse Supervisor must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing. Must have previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
