Uses evidence-based practice to develop and maintain guidelines for safe, effective care. Provides clinical expertise, guiding team members in delivering developmentally appropriate care and evaluating outcomes for infants and children with complex health needs. Oversees staff and financial resource allocation, adjusting as needed to meet patient care demands while maintaining budget compliance. Establishes department performance metrics and collaborates with Associate Clinical Managers to achieve clinical, operational, and developmental goals. Identifies and acts on opportunities for continuous improvement. Resolves escalated, complex, or sensitive patient/family issues and operational concerns, making inclusive, data-informed decisions that address root causes. Interprets and enforces quality and safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and promote best practices. Leads and supports a culture of clinical inquiry by mentoring team members on practice-based research and quality improvement projects.
