Medical Renal/Wound Care/Diabetes Unit (7WT): Focus on patients with a primary diabetes, renal, or wound care related diagnosis. Specializing in complex wound care, peritoneal dialysis, and the management of medically stable Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Hyperglycemic Hyperosmolar Non-Ketotic Syndrome and intravenous insulin drips. Medical 1 (10WT): Medical 1 is a 32 bed inpatient/observation unit, serving the adult patients that are acutely ill or injured.
