Provides verbal and written instructions including medication and side effects. Professional leadership: Reports patient care or management problems to Clinical Coordinator and /or supervisor when necessary and investigates and intervenes in problem situations reporting appropriate information. Makes outpatient assignment based on acuity and staff qualifications and experience. Coordinates unit routines, providing guidance to staff, orienting new staff, assuring presence and working order of emergency equipment.
