Assists physician with rounds as required. What you will do in this role: Develops plan of care based upon initial assessment of postpartum patients throughout admission. Provides care for Postpartum patients that include order entry, IV therapy and diagnostic tests .Provides care post operatively, including surgical site dressing, blood administration, managing IV lines, PCA analgesia, Provides for teaching with, but not limited to, bladder training, and breast pumps Provides age appropriate care to all patient populations for which staff member is Contributes to the learning of new employees, students, floats & agency personnel.
