About this Job: Orthopedic Spine Surgery PA/NP Opportunity MedStar Orthopedics at Brandywine – Brandywine, MD & Lorton, VA MedStar Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Spine Surgery team and work closely with Dr. David A. Weiner, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. This is a full-time opportunity based primarily out of Brandywine, MD, with patient care at our Lorton, VA office as well. The APP will provide both outpatient clinic care and first-assist support in the operating room. Care is based on age specific current standards of practice. The Surgical Technologist Assistant must be sensitive to the patient's right to privacy and dignity at all times. High school diploma or general education degree (GED), specialized formal training from an accredited surgical technologist course, completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist First Assistant program, and experience or related training as a Surgical Technologist within the past 5 years required.
