Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis. FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Role Summary The Cath Lab/IR nurse provides clinical care to a variety of patients in the procedural area. The Cath Lab/IR nurse will assist the procedural physician by managing critical medications, providing oversight of patient hemodynamic status, sedation level, as well as document all aspects of the procedure. The Cath Lab/IR nurse will also be responsible for prepping and recovering patients from procedures and providing all necessary patient education and support. This position also requires the nurse to be comfortable practicing with a high-level of autonomy typically acquired from at least 2 years of intensive nursing experience in a unit such as critical care, cath lab, interventional radiology, or the ER. The Staff Nurse II provides clinical care and uses coordination skills for every patient served.
