Williamsburg, Virginia Overview The Riverside Health System provides a temporary paid student internship program that creates an opportunity to gain invaluable experience through a combination of mentoring, learning activities, and project work designed to give broad exposure to the inner workings of a health care system. This temporary paid internship program consists of various assignments throughout the health system combined with leadership development opportunities. Students serving in this role will be expected to participate in completing projects for the health system with minimal supervision. Students will be assigned to one department or facility for the entire program period where they will work under the supervision/mentorship of an experienced Business Unit Leader. Additionally, students may have the opportunity to attend training and development meetings in an environment with other students or administrative residents.
