Interacts appropriately and effectively with all patients/others regardless of age or ethnic background. 11. Uses Standard Universal Precautions, appropriate hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, and safe practices to ensure personal safety and a safe environment. 12. Assists with environmental hazard and infection control surveillance and participates in emergency preparedness drills. 13. Follows all equipment and safety guidelines and is responsible for knowledgeable use and care of equipment. 14. Serves as a resource to other members of the health care team. 15. Attends in services, conferences, and meetings as required. 16. Communicates effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, and their office staffs, patients, and employees. Maintains patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy. 17. Maintains designated certifications such as CPR, as offered by the center. 18. Acts in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center. 19. Responsibilities Our multi‑specialty surgical center is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong retina surgery experience and the flexibility to support additional surgical specialties. The ideal candidate is skilled in retina-specific instrumentation and workflows while also demonstrating adaptability across a diverse surgical environment. This role ensures high‑quality technical support for vitreoretinal procedures and contributes to efficient operations across the broader surgical team. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Responsibilities: Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas. Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients. Perform all other duties as assigned . Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements: High School Gra duate or equivalent . Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Techn ologist Program . Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred .
