You will have accountability for delivering quality patient care and for promoting a positive image of the department. You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team. What Qualifications You Will Need: Completion of a Surgical Technologist certification program required from an accredited educational institution, and completion of the Surgical Assisting Certification Exam. Certification as Certified Surgical Technologist required. Certification as a Surgical First Assist required. 2 years’ experience as Certified Surgical Technologist required. 1 year experience as a Surgical First Assist Required Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
