Part-Time 1:1 School Nurse (RN) Fridays Only - Northbrook, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a student in a school setting in Northbrook, IL.

The RN will work directly with the student throughout the school day, providing individualized care and helping ensure the student remains safe, comfortable, and supported while participating in the school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care and monitoring throughout the school day

  • Assist with tube feedings according to the students care plan

  • Provide toileting assistance

  • Monitor the students health and respond appropriately to any changes or medical needs

  • Communicate with school staff and the students care team as needed

  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation

  • Follow all school and nursing protocols

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois RN license required

  • Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred

  • Experience with tube feedings preferred
