The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct student care and student care related activities, including, but not limited to: personal care, activities of daily living, and other clinical skills necessary to meet the objectives stated in the individual student plan of care. These require tasks and other administrative duties and responsibilities will be assigned and directed by the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse and Classroom Teacher CNA's may help deliver the educational component by assisting the student with hand over hand and other similar physical exercises with respect to the student(s) physical limitations in demonstrating his/her ability to perform the educational tasks as instructed by the teacher(s). Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The RN is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
