Track the receipt of all results for all ordered tests. Ability to perform POCT as well as all quality controls. Ability to perform ECGs, place Zio patches per workflow protocol. Follows critical lab result protocol. Provides patients with accurate information when answering questions and concerns. Maintains patient records and protects patient confidentiality. Complete referrals accurately and appropriately. Utilizes closed-loop communication to ensure providers and required staff aware of patient status. Maintain patient areas and supplies: Disinfect exam rooms between patients and all patient areas at the end of the day. Assist with clinic upkeep, including daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory. Adheres to infection prevention practices related to Instructions for Use (IFUs), re-processing standards of instruments and equipment. General: Remains calm and effective in an emergency or in high-pressure situations. Collaborate with team members on various ongoing projects. Perform additional duties as assigned. Within the Chadwick Center, the Child Abuse Pediatrics department conducts child abuse medical examinations when there is concern about child abuse, including sexual and physical abuse examinations.
