Description JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a vital role in supporting patient care by performing clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician or licensed provider. Prepare for and assist with clinical procedures, including instrument preparation, specimen labeling, wound care, suture removal, and immunizations. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant certification required. Registration is preferred. Current CPR certification is required. Related experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with computer systems and electronic medical records. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent standing and walking for long periods (up to 8-10 hours/day). Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead frequently. Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and perform clinical procedures. Visual acuity to read charts, labels, and assess patient conditions.
