Overview Shifts Available: PRN Day Shifts Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 10-hour shifts – 7:00am to 5:00pm PRN Shifts Location: Southern Regional Medical Center – Riverdale, GA We are seeking a OR Circulating RN, internally referred to as our Operating Room Circulating RN. You will be a part of a close-knit, highly collaborative operating room team that assists with Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and General Surgeries. The OR Circulating RN is an essential member of the perioperative team, who advocates for patients that are under anesthesia and/or sedation and the OR RN that conducts an inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the surgical procedure. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, which may involve verifying the patient's identity and surgical site, helping to position the patient on the operating table, and ensuring that all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure, such as the patient's vital signs, medications administered, and any other relevant details for the patient's medical record Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper procedures for handling instruments and equipment Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper procedures for handling instruments and equipment Qualifications Education and Work Experience Current and valid state RN License. Overview Expanding Neonatology Practice in Beautiful Suburban North Atlanta! Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee Responsibilities Seeking a per diem, experienced NNP to join our expanding team of 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologists dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families in suburban communities north of Atlanta. Our team provides Level III neonatology services at both Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee. We are expanding our team from 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs to provide 24/7 coverage at both locations. Northside Forsyth, Level III NICU (Cumming, GA) The average census in NICU is 18-20 45 post-partum rooms Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE. Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, our team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born at Forsyth location Northside Cherokee, Level III NICU (Canton, GA) New Women’s Center opened in 2017 The average census in NICU is 13-15 (this has doubled since 2020). 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU 24 post-partum rooms Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG. Whole body cooling at Forsyth only Our team provides NBN coverage for 100% of all deliveries at the Cherokee location **Additonal Details: Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
