Collaboration: Work closely with the medical team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff. Documentation: Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and responses to care in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts as required. Patient Education: Provide patients and families with information regarding diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care instructions. Emergency Response: Respond to rapid response calls, code blue situations, or any critical situation requiring immediate intervention. Patient Advocacy: Ensure that the patient’s rights, dignity, and preferences are respected at all times while providing care. Infection Control: Follow all infection control protocols to minimize the risk of infection for patients and healthcare staff. Quality Improvement: Participate in the ongoing evaluation of care quality and suggest improvements in processes or procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
