Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill are performed using the process in accordance with hospital policy, procedures and nursing philosophy. A pediatric hospitalist is present for 8 hours a day and on call from home for the remainder of the 24-hour shift. You will work with a small established team of NNPs who provide 24/7 coverage. The current model is 24 hour shifts with the occasional moonlighting shift. The NNP call room is adjacent to L&D and functions as both office and sleep space for the NNP team. The Director of Women's and Children's Services serves as liaison between the NNP team, Beebe Medical Group, and the hospital. We average 60-70 births per month and 4-6 transfers per month. Qualifications Education/Training Requirements: Advanced practice registered nurse. Must hold a master's degree in nursing from an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program . Must be current in maintenance of NCC certification. Must be American Heart BLS & NRP certified. New graduates will not be considered. Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred.
