Cooperates with all rehab disciplines. Keeps accountability sheets up to date with signatures as required. Testing of Urine and Collecting of Specimens Has knowledge of proper procedure. Is familiar with and takes proper action in meeting physical needs of resident. Routinely checks and keeps in order all residents' belongings: i.e. clothing, glasses, hearing aid, prosthesis aid, adaptive devices, etc. Ensures that residents on turning schedule is positioned every two hours or as ordered, and documented. Ensures that residents on toileting schedule are assisted as needed, and documented. Resident is kept clean and dry. Gives assistance to co-workers when needed. Uses good handwashing techniques. Cooperation Works well with co-workers and supervisors. Maintains appropriate relationship with residents, families and peers. Gives assistance to other departments: i.e. recreation, when necessary. These unlicensed individuals may be employed to practice under the immediate and personal supervision of a NYS licensed, currently registered, RN for up to 90 days immediately following graduation pending receipt of a limited permit, which selected candidates must apply for and receive within the same 90-day period. Once a limited permit is received, individuals can practice nursing, under the immediate and personal supervision of a NYS licensed, currently registered, RN at a NYC Health + Hospitals health care setting for up to one (1) year from the date of issuance of the limited permit.
