This includes conducting thorough daily rounds, performing advanced medical history and physical assessments, formulating, and implementing patient-centered treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic test results, and facilitating safe and effective discharge planning. (30%) Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies to determine patient treatment plans and establish medical diagnoses within the scope of practice. Collaborates proactively with the attending physician and interdisciplinary team to develop and refine patient care plans. Seeks physician consultation and guidance for clinical decisions that extend beyond the PA-C scope of practice or knowledge base, ensuring optimal patient safety and outcomes.
