Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Monitor and evaluate patients, including vitals, assessments, and nurse visits. Completing necessary forms for patients, such as FMLA. Triage patient calls by collecting medical history and symptom details; document and relay information in EHR, ensuring follow-up within 24 hours. Administer medications and injections; assist with bone marrow procedures. Educate patients and monitor for changes in condition or treatment response. Follow treatment protocols and assist with managing side effects. Perform daily chart reviews and notify patients of lab, scan, or test results. Coordinate referrals and track lab/pathology reports. Support providers by managing hospital admissions, transfusions, biopsies, labs, and imaging. Transport patients between exam rooms and chemo sub wait areas. Cross-train to act as a scribe as needed.
