Participates in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate educational offerings. Acts as a preceptor and mentor to support the development of nurses, APPs, students and other health care providers. Responsibilities: Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident responses Monitor and report any adverse reactions to medications Assist with resident care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Conduct vital signs and other assessments as required Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Requirements: Currently certified as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA) High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality policies What We Offer: We offer a supportive and team-oriented work environment, competitive pay rates, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
