Serenity Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our North Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN who enjoys supporting clinical operations in an office setting while helping ensure exceptional care for our hospice patients. Position Summary The In-Office LPN provides clinical and administrative support to the interdisciplinary hospice team. This role assists with coordinating patient care, reviewing documentation, communicating with field clinicians and providers, and ensuring compliance with hospice regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Provide clinical support to the Director of Nursing, RN Case Managers, and interdisciplinary team. Review patient charts for completeness and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Current New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Minimum one (1) year of hospice experience preferred. Experience with hospice EMR systems preferred. Perform patient correspondence when requested and assist patients in completing forms when appropriate. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to procedure and OSHA standards. Complete scheduled cleaning requirements for designated work areas. Document completion of work to comply with infection control and OSHA standards Implement other infection control procedures as needed and adhere to protective clothing requirements. Ensure clinic supplies are adequately stocked and well organized. Process and deliver department inventory requests in a timely manner. Routinely check expiration dates and remove or replace outdated supplies. Maintain prescription sample supply cabinet as per clinic protocol Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and adequate records are kept. Ensure inventory of instruments and equipment is current. Ensure instruments and equipment are calibrated as needed and maintained in proper working order.
