During the hours when on call, the Visit Nurse is expected to follow On Call Protocol and to respond to all pages within 20 minutes. V. Analyzes trauma registry data and provides registry reports on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement, education and injury prevention activities and validates data. Facilitates identification and documentation of hospital-based and American College of Surgeons approved performance improvement variances and complications. Assesses the need for and facilitates the development and compliance with trauma protocols, guidelines, pathways and standard order Assists with the development and coordination of projects that will enhance the trauma service. Participates in trauma related research by providing data to investigators in compliance with HIPPA and Prisma Health IRB regulations.
