Review medication record for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of the physician’s order, and adherence to stop order policies. Administer professional services such as: catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags, care of the dead/dying, etc., as required. Participate in the orientation of new customers/family members to the facility. Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician. Notify the customer’s attending physician and family when there is a change in the customer’s conditions. Obtain sputum, urine and other lab tests as ordered. Take and record TPR’s, blood pressures, accuchecks, etc., as necessary. Contact the customer’s physician for: Nursing assessment of change of condition. Medication orders or charges. To inform of incidents. To report abnormal results of Lab and X-ray. Anything else pertinent to the customers’ care and well-being. Ensure the nurses’ notes and monthly summaries reflect the care plan and is being followed. Attend staff meetings, etc., as directed. Overnight Caregiver

Summary: Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking Overnight Caregivers for a variety of cases. Cases can be 10pm-6am ,11pm-7am or 8pm-8am. These cases are available during the week and the weekend. We are looking for experienced caregivers who have excellent communication skills, personal care experience with seniors and those who truly love providing care. The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs.
