Description Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations within the LPN scope of practice. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider, the LPN assists in patient care, treatment, and comfort. This role is an integral part of the healthcare team, ensuring quality care in alignment with Emory Healthcare's patient and family-centered care standards. Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of patient medical records. 2. Adhere to universal precautions and patient safety standards in all interactions. 3. Follow Emory Healthcare's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Quality Improvement & Professional Development: 1. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care. 2. Conduct or assist with in-service training and continuous learning opportunities. 3. May serve on sectional, departmental, or organizational committees as needed. Required Minimum Qualifications: Education - 1. High School Diploma or GED required. 2.
