Assess Central Venous Access Device and provide appropriate care to include dressing changes and site care. Obtain labs as ordered by the physician. Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other individuals of the multidisciplinary team in the patient’s care. Document and maintains a complete and updated treatment plan at all times. Meets required guidelines for documentation of certification and re-certification periods and obtains verbal orders per protocol as deemed necessary.
