The APP has responsibility for the quality of standards of care for a specified patient population and evidences self-direction and accountability in the development of this role within the all UCSF medical center locations. UCSF Health requires all Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to be credentialed through its Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) in order to practice and function in their clinical role.
