Position Overview We are seeking a PRN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our highly specialized Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at East Jefferson General Hospital. Program Highlights You’ll support a diverse and complex cardiac case mix with large mechanical support, including: Open Heart Surgery Heart and Lung Transplant Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) 12 hour shifts Day/night rotation In this role, you will function as an advanced clinician providing comprehensive, evidence‑based care to complex, critically ill cardiothoracic patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care across the continuum.
