Overview Our General Surgical Unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in exceptional postoperative care for our general surgical patients. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and are trained in all aspects of postoperative care; including pain management, mobility, and bedside procedures. Overview The Intermediate Surgical Care Unit (ISCU) provides specialized care for post-operative surgical patients requiring a level of support between intensive care and acute care. With a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, the unit offers enhanced monitoring and clinical oversight for individuals recovering from complex surgical procedures. ISCU nurses are trained in intermediate-level interventions and collaborate closely with surgical teams, hospitalists, and ancillary staff to ensure safe transitions and optimal recovery. Overview DCH Health System is proud to offer Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Service at both our Regional and Northport Campuses. We specialize in the critical care of neonates and infants in our 21 bed unit at DCH Regional and 18 bed unit at Northport Medical Center. Our team of Neonatologists , Neonatal nurse practitioners, Neonatal nursing staff, NICU dedicated Respiratory Therapist, and NICU dedicated pharmacist provide in house care 24-7.
