Medical Assistant Required Skills And Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current CPR training required. Successful completion of CMA or CNA Program preferred. Completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred. Experience: One to three years’ experience in clinical position preferred. Prior computer experience required. One to three years’ experience as a nursing or medical assistant or in a related field preferred.
