This position assists with the development and implementation of nursing services, objectives, policies and procedures. The RN Director of Nursing will assist the facility in accomplishing its mission of assuring quality care is delivered at all times. In coordination with the Nursing Center Administrator, CEO, and DON assess, plan, develop, coordinate and directs customer satisfaction, meet all regulatory requirements and BridgePoint Standards. The RN Assistant Director of Nursing develops and teach modules in clinical and non-clinical areas pertaining to quality assurance, quality improvement and infection control. The ADON serves as Day Supervisor but in ADON role off shift. This key leadership role is responsible for 24 Hour reports, new orders, labs shared with families, doctors, and leadership team. The RN Assistant Director of Nursing works with Human Resources and Staff Development to educate employees in standard precautions and injury prevention. This nurse leader meets facility, local and state standards, but also to better serve customers.
