In a full-time nonrestrictive basis, the associate must be able to lift at least 40 pounds of weight, which is required when transferring a patient from a bed to a wheelchair. A transfer belt is necessary and required when transferring any patient. This is for the safety of not only the patient, but also the aide. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Sexual Health Center provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes, maintains clinical documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and supports patient education and advocacy. Principal Accountabilities Patient Assessment: Perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate assessments. Assess potential discharge needs during the initial assessment process. Administers medications to patients and monitor effects of medications and treatments and report adverse effects in a timely manner. Assess patient for pain level. Provide appropriate intervention, reassessment, and documentation. Systematically monitor the maintenance of protocols, standards, and plans of care. Position Summary Serenity Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and organized Assistant Team Lead RN to support the clinical leadership team and provide guidance to our hospice nursing staff. Help monitor timely completion of assessments, recertifications, care plans, orders, and other required clinical documentation. Assist with identifying changes in patient condition and ensuring appropriate communication with physicians, hospice providers, patients, and families. Support coordination between nursing, aides, social work, chaplain, volunteers, providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff. Participate in interdisciplinary group meetings and other clinical meetings as assigned.
