Shift Type: Part-time and Full-Time (Day, Weekend, Evenings, Overnights available) Responsibilities of the Personal Care Assistants (PCA): You don’t mind getting a little dirty … this could include ( but is not limited to ) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene ( toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair ), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores. You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen. Requirements of the Personal Care Assistants (PCA): High school degree or G.E.D. certificate Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (homes or facilites) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course. Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Have a valid driver’s license and use an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation The Home Health Aide shall have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the state licensing laws for home health agencies. Summary The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program. Allergy and Immunology NP Position Summary The Division of Allergy and Immunology is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner who will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with allergic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the outpatient allergy clinic setting.
