Premier Endocrinology FT / 80 hours per pay period Summary The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under the direction and supervision of the center’s physicians and/or providers. Nature and Scope The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the physician and/or provider. A minimum patient base of 1,000 to 3,000 patients is served, and an average of 20 – 50 patients are seen each day. The Certified MA will assist providers with patient care that includes, but is not limited to; order entry, reporting, phone calls, clerical, and organizational tasks, and related duties.
