Job Overview At RWJBarnabas Health, the Registered Nurse (RN) working on the psychiatric inpatient 22 bed Dual Diagnosis Mental Illness (DDMI) unit specializes in treatment of patients with autism and intellectual disabilities and varying medical complexities. Trinitas is proud to be the only hospital in New Jersey with a separate unit to serve this population. The psychiatric inpatient 27 bed closed unit is an involuntary unit. Patients are committed to being inpatient for treatment and can have varying medical complexities. The psychiatric inpatient 21bed open unit is a voluntary unit. Patients are able to sign themselves in for treatment and can have varying medical complexities. Our staff are cross trained to work all the units within our inpatient behavioral health department. We provide management of acutely ill patients with lift-threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high- intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance. Our care management consists of care bundles based on evidence-based practices that are executed with compassion and caring. The salary range for the role is $64.8517 - $64.8517 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
