Client is seeking assistance with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation in the client's vehicle. She has a cat and dog, and would sometimes request help walking the dog. Companion care could also include conversation, card games, and accompanying the client to social events. Caregiver must possess a current driver license and impeccable driving record. Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees. Report client complaints to the PAS Supervisor. Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: One year of documented experience as a Caregiver (HHA/PCA certificate or current CNA license).
