Job Summary and Responsibilities As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care. You will be cross-trained to work in both pre-op and PACU, with the expectation to float between these areas to ensure consistent coverage for our patients. Your responsibilities include the full scope of care: performing pre-op calls and Pre-Admission Testing (PATs), facilitating patient transports, and managing clinical recovery for both surgery and GI patients. You will be responsible for recovering both Phase I and Phase II patients in a unified setting, ensuring seamless care transitions throughout the perioperative and procedural process. Overview NaphCare is hiring FT Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team of medical professionals in Pueblo, Colorado, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Pueblo County Detention Center. The Required Schedule: Evening Pay rates range from $32.00-$34.11 per hour. Pay rates range per hour based on employment status, site needs, licensure, and experience. As a Correctional Nurse , you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies.
