The Inpatient Rehabilitation department at St. Francis Hospital, Capron Neuro and Trauma Rehabilitation is an acute inpatient rehab facility with 27 beds which is part of Penrose-St Francis Hospital system. We care for patients who suffer from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumas, neurological diseases, spinal surgeries and amputations. We receive admissions from Penrose and St Francis primarily and do not have overflow. Our mission is to support patients and their families in physical and emotional healing to gain maximum functional independence. Our goal is to support patients on their journey to be as independent as possible. Our average length of stay for patients is two weeks which allows time to connect with patients and provide them with education that includes teaching of new skills and providing support as they adjust to their ‘new normal’. Our interdisciplinary team is the heart of our unit and is integral in helping patients reach their maximum rehab potential.

The Clinic RN (Registered Nurse) provides skilled nursing care in accordance with InnovAge policies and all applicable regulations to participants. Assists in the examination, testing, and treatment of participants. Implements orders written by primary care providers. Effectively communicates and actively engages in interdisciplinary team meetings, family meetings, and clinic meetings. Participates within the interdisciplinary team in the formulation of Plans of Care participants, as well as in other interdisciplinary team settings. May be required to provide after hours and holiday coverage. Complies with all regulatory and policy and procedure guidelines. REQUIRED Current State issued Registered Nurse License Current First Aid and BLS certifications are required prior to hire . Job Overview The Director, Neonatal Advanced Practice (APPs) provides strategic leadership, fiscal oversight, and operational management for one or more departments. This role is responsible for setting and implementing departmental goals and performance standards, while representing the organization in national and regional professional forums. The director oversees all hospital-employed APPs—primarily in neonatology and perioperative services—and other clinicians as appropriate. Under the direction of the VP of Critical Care Services, Chief Nursing Executive, and Chief Medical Officer, the director leads efforts to advance APP roles across CHCO facilities and contracted locations. This includes oversight of scope of practice, optimization of care models, and promotion of professional development aligned with CHCO’s mission and goals. The director works in close collaboration with the Director of SOM APPs, the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and CHCO clinical staff and faculty to further the hospital’s mission in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $134,579.79 to $224,299.64 Duties & Responsibilities Collaborates with the Director, SOM APPs to provide guidance, support and leadership for all advanced practice providers providing care within the CHCO system. Collaborates with the Medical leaders, CMO, CNE and VP Critical Care Services to support continued professional development of the APPs. Collaborates with medical and CHCO leadership to develop measurable performance metrics for APPs that are consistent with the critical success factors, quality/safety standards for both CHCO.
